FREE INSULATION FOR PERSONS AGED OVER 70 YEARS

If you, or someone living with you is aged over 70 years CAVITY WALL insulation can be installed in your home FREE OF CHARGE, if your cavity is suitable for this kind of insulation.

AND

 LOFT INSULATION can be installed FREE OF CHARGE if there is NO insulation in your Loft OR LESS THAN 61mm of insulation already in your loft.

You could be entitled to both of these installations FREE OF CHARGE.

GRANT ASSISTED INSULATION

There are a number of grants presently available for home insulation:

CAVITY WALL INSULATION

25% Grant is available to EVERYONE who wishes to install Cavity Wall Insulation with no reference to personal circumstances. If you have a cavity wall that is not insulated, doing so will give you the biggest single saving on your fuel costs possible.
Up to 1/3rd of your heat can escape through your walls.

LOFT INSULATION

Grants are available to EVERYONE who has NO insulation in their loft.

FREE INSULATION – for people on benefits.

CAVITY WALL INSULATION / LOFT INSULATION / LOFT TOP-UP INSULATION (if existing insulation is less than 100mm) / DRAUGHT-PROOFING

For people in receipt of one or more of the following benefits there are a number of Grants available – some up to 100%.

3. Child Tax Credit Total household income up to £15,460
4. Disability Living Allowance
5. Housing Benefit with certain conditions

7. Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit with Constant Attendance Allowance
8. Income based job seekers allowance
9. Pension Credit
10. War Disablement Pension – with mobility supplement or constant attendance allowance.
11. Working Tax Credit – with total household income to £15,460
    

Note: Proof of benefit entitlement will need to be produced.
